Even after all these years, a go-ahead home run on Opening Day is something to celebrate. Thome hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning, rallying the Chicago White Sox past the Kansas City Royals 4-2 on Tuesday in a season opener delayed a day because of bad weather.

Hahah...great start.
Just don't read too much into the first week....I find it's actually hard to gauge what your team is really like until about May 10th. But if a White Sox/Purple Rox World Series were ever to take place, you'll have to come out here to take in a game at a real stadium. :-)
